Alfalfa hay should never be given as a food source.  The calcium content is to high and unheathly for your rabbit.  The best indicator of your rabbit's health is thier appetite.  They won't eat if he or she doesn't feel well.   If the feeder is kept full all the time, you won't know something is wrong until it's too late.  Try to only feed your adult rabbit once a day.  Please click the rabbit images below which will take you to a link on the care of your new pet.
